Graduates gain practical training to confidently return to their departments\, prepared to instruct their teams in safe and efficient ice rescue techniques. \nPREREQUISITES\n\nAt least 21 years of age\nMember of a Public Safety Agency\nProof of current First Aid and CPR training\n\nBRING TO CLASS\nAll students will need: \n\nU.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation\nDevice (PFD)\nA knife\nA whistle\nAdequate clothing for working outside\nPen and paper for taking notes.\n\nIf the student has access to a cold water rescue suit or dry suit\, they should bring it to class. It is advised that students bring a dry set of clothing.
