This comprehensive three-day\, 24-hour Ice Rescue Trainer course is tailored for public safety personnel\, covering essential standards found in NFPA 1006 and 2500. Graduates gain practical training to confidently return to their departments\, prepared to instruct their teams in safe and efficient ice rescue techniques. \nPREREQUISITES\n\nAt least 21 years of age\nMember of a Public Safety Agency\nProof of current First Aid and CPR training\n\nBRING TO CLASS\nAll students will need: \n\nU.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation\nDevice (PFD)\nA knife\nA whistle\nAdequate clothing for working outside\nPen and paper for taking notes.\n\nIf the student has access to a cold water rescue suit or dry suit\, they should bring it to class. It is advised that students bring a dry set of clothing.
