Water Operations Officer Development

OBJECTIVE

This course is designed to help water rescue teams to organize and manage many of the often overlooked or forgotten tasks required to be successful. Mission readiness includes Leadership (communication and motivation), Management (budgeting, SOPs/SOGs), Training / Equipment (surface and subsurface teams) and Water Operations (on, near or under the water). Participants will complete several tabletop scenarios.

PREREQUISITES

• Member of a Public Safety Agency
• At least 18 years old
