Recommended for: All public safety members will obtain a baseline set of knowledge and skills to operate a rapid diver unit
2 day (16 hours) unless paired with another Diving Class, then 1 day (8 hours)

Overview
Students will gain knowledge and ability to utilize a Rapid Diver Unit as well as effectively plan, organize and conduct safe operational dives within the limitations of the Rapid Diver Unit.
Duration
- 2 day (16 hours) unless paired with another Diving Class, then 1 day (8 hours)
Prerequisites:
- Member of a public safety agency
- At least 18 years of age
- Students diving in dry suits must submit proof of dry suit training with registration
- Complete RSTC Medical Statement (including physician signature, if applicable)
- Proof of an open water dive certification
